Hold the rotten tomatoes! :-) <br /> <br />Price was about the same as Amazon, it was the only brand the store had, and I needed one right then. I use it every day for portioning out foods. Now I can be sure that everyone gets the same amount of hamburger! =) It has all the basic features; ounces (to one decimal place) or grams selection, tare weight and auto off. If there's any quibble, the instruction book says that the machine shuts down after three minutes. In practice it's more like one minute. Not a problem for me. This scale is definitely worth a look. Five stars! <br /> <br />Forgot to mention that it will also do double duty as a home postal scale on occasion. Seems to be pretty accurate, too.
