  1. Having been a yo-yo dieter forever, I decided that I need to control the number of calories I consume each day in order to keep the weight off. I really don’t have trouble losing weight once I’m motivated. I just start putting it back on right away because I have refused to take the next step.

This product is easy to use, especially if you don’t eat a lot of pre-packaged foods (they all have calorie count on package). Just weigh it, pick the food and you can easily adjust to control caloric intake. With this scale I have managed to maintain my weight for 7 months now.

  2. Nurse Bill says:

I had bought this scale over 1 year ago. I think they should do away with scales that don’t have the nutrition read-out like this scale does. It takes a lot of figuring, and math, out of the process of figuring out portion size and calories.

My back ground as a RN is in emergency nursing, and now weight loss. I counsel people on how the human body responds to and requires food, components of food, and how to eat in order to lose weight. I now know professionally that the number 1 thing that affects weight is food. I used to think that exercise was the key… but it isn’t. I teach my patients to minimize their exercise as it makes hunger worse, especially when starting to eat in order to lose weight.

I’m actually considering selling this scale in our weight-loss clinics.

When it comes down to it… points don’t work. You need to know your calories, fat, protein, carbohydrates, and fiber . And this scale will help you do that with minimal effort.
