I wish I had a chance to say how accurate the readings were. I wish I had a chance to say how clever the plastic shield on the readout worked. I wish I had a chance to put one single item on the scale to weigh. The scale was defective out of the box and the customer service at My Weigh is some of the worst I have ever had to deal with. They expect you to pay for all shipping cost for there defective merchandise with out even trying to solve the problem. Look elsewhere if you want a dependable scale.

This is a very nice practical and accurate scale. It costs little more than some of the very inaccurate mechanical scales so I’d rate it an excellent bargain. We did not use a scale much in cooking before acquiring it and now find all manner of uses. It is simple to use and can be configured for either metric or non metric weights. It is also useful for other things like postal weighing and it tares easily. The flip up protective shield gets in the way occasionally but it serves a purpose so I’ve learned to live with it.

I saw this product at a local candle supplier, but bought it here for half the price. It works great! It has a cover to shield from wax and even worse, oil spills and splatters and the metal top is great for hot pouring pitchers. A great product, with the extra free tiny kitchen scale (not sure what you would ever use this freebie for, but no matter).

This is the scale of all scales. If you are looking for a slimline easily storable scale this is not for you. This is more of a deli scale and that is exactly what I wanted. The scale is sturdy. The top shelf is removable stainless and the bottom is high density plastic. The controls are large and the number display can be read from the living room. The functions are intuitive and undisputably awesome. I love this scale. It’s hygenic and it’s definitley worth it’s price. Functionality and overall construction make this a must have for the serious wannabe chef.

This scale was smaller than I had expected. However it does all that is said it will do and I really like it.. I can weight all my eggs to get the correct weight for packaging. It keeps the tare even if it shuts off. It is very handy when canning from the garden ..
