I just bought this Mainstays Digital Kitchen Scale. I read the instructions. I cannot seem to figure out how to set the tare weight. The instructions are vague at best. The word “Tare” never appears in the display, thereby negating what the instructions stated.

This item was working great for a little bit, but then I started to notice that it was harder to get the scale to turn on or change measurement. I have only had this scale 3 weeks and it does not work anymore. It is terrible.

The measurements seem accurate with this scale and the design is good. But, when I put an item on the scale to be measured, it is necessary to get the data fast because the scale shuts off automatically. If I step away to get more food to add to the scale it has turned off before I return. When it is turned back on it also resets the tare. It will be fine for those who can measure fast and get it done in one reading.
