It’s a timer with a short non-piercing bell.
Seriously, WTF else do you expect from it?
It looks nice, it works and it doesn’t have an annoying pitch.

This timer is a LOT smaller than I thought it would be. It is very attractive, but the bell is not very loud and I am sometimes worried that I won’t hear it if I am not in the kitchen. If you need to set it for less than 30 minutes you have to be careful to turn it past the 30 mark and then to your desired setting or it won’t work. Many times I have set it, heard it ticking, but the needle goes nowhere.

I love that this timer is magnetic – I keep it stuck right on my oven’s hood. It looks classy too. The bell only chimes once, but it is loud enough to get your attention without being annoying (sort of reminds me of an old fashioned telephone ringtone). Not just for cooking either – works great for use as a time-out timer for my 3 year old.

AT LAST I have found a timer that works! This one is small, very attractive and sticks to my stove hood where it is handy to use. I don’t even have to remove it from the hood to set it. It keeps time accurately and has a LOUD ring which I can hear in the living room. I had to return another timer that didn’t work properly but I’ll be keeping this one!
