One of the things I hate about Amazon is all the fake reviews. This one is chalk full of them with people affiliated with the company posing as customers.

Take a look at history reviews of the people commenting on this item. See a pattern? Also, take a look at the locations of some of the reviewers and how close they are to the Utah based “Handstands” company. Coincidence? I think not! Unless they have some sort of Handstands cult going on there.

The scale does everything it says it can do. Started using right out of the box. The memory of the food types is excellent for those that are watching their intake and the ability to add your own allows us to better use the system.

Me and the wife bought this to actually count carbs or whatever. I didn’t really get into using it, and she didn’t really care either. I have been using it to weigh packages that i send out via USPS. A lot more accurate than the other scale I bought for $50.

Disadvantage is that it can’t weigh more than 12 lbs or so.

BUT it is cheaper than postal scales, so i would reccomend it.

I looked at a lot of scales. This scale had a lot of extra features but the price was only slightly higher than a scale that just gave the weight. I needed to know the carbs, fats, etc. so this scale is very informative. My favorite features is that you can put any container on the scale before you turn it on and it will zero out so after you turn it on you get just the info. for the food itself, makes clean up easier, just toss your plate into the dishwasher and grab any old plate or bowl for the next measure. My only problem is I find the book with the code numbers a bit awkward, too many diff. sections for everything, and I have to wear “cheaters” to read it. I plan to spend a little time (maybe when I’m a passenger during a car commute) to pull out a list of codes for my most frequently measured foods, then type up my own, larger print list to make it handier. I don’t know how long the scale will last, but it appears to be well-made and has a small footprint on the counter. I find it very usefull and with all of the different information it supplies, it is useful for everyone in our household.

I have been using my electronic scale and it is GREAT. Easy readout with nice large numbers. I would reccommend to anyone dieting or just needing to measure their foods.
